Life About Da Vinci

Join former Senator Derford Grey (R-MO) as he explores the works of Leonardo da Vinci. Please note that the former Senator is a fan of Dan Brown and some of his facts may have been drawn from the Da Vinci Code.

Life About Da Vinci was filmed in early 2009 for a high school art history project. The character of Derford Grey was originally created as a stereotypical Dixiecrat, but he soon evolved into Malcolm McDowell. Grey was stripped of his senatorial status many years ago after he got drunk and made unflattering statements about then Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. He is currently trying to make another run for the Senate, this time as a Democrat. Grey is the subject of an upcoming docudrama concerning his return to politics entitled Derford Grey Goes to Washington.*
